Hip ArthroscopyHip arthroscopy is a newer field in orthopaedic surgery which allows excellent access to the hip joint. Hip arthroscopy allows quicker recovery than more invasive techniques for a variety of hip conditions. Most commonly, hip arthroscopy is used to treat labral tears as well as femoroacetabular (aka hip) impingement. Hip arthroscopy allows for patients to be discharged home on the same day of surgery.
